The final day is upon us and the vibe is bittersweet as we prepare to send our rad dudes and dudettes back out into the world to do great things. As is tradition, the whole camp gathered for a Closing Campfire for songs, skits, and some final reflection on this totally gnarly week.

This year we had eight campers aging out — a totally epic (and unusually high!) number for us. As part of our Closing Campfire tradition, we gave each of these righteous rockstars a proper send-off, sharing their greatest hits from camp and their totally tubular plans for the future.

Finally, the buses rolled in, and it was bon voyage for our totally awesome campers. With high-fives, hugs, and fists pumped high Judd Nelson-style, they cruised off with a final wave.

We had a truly fantastic week! Thank you to all the volunteers, donors, parents, and of course campers who helped make this week possible. We’re so excited to see what the world has in store for our campers! Until next time, stay cool Burn Camp Fam!
