We had another bodacious day of activities down at the MABC. Our groups went through their first full round of programs: arts & crafts, science, music, & of course swimming in the camp pool! Our youngest campers in Group 2 took a stroll through 80s history as they decorated their own verion of the Berlin Wall at Arts & Crafts.

Earth Day Diversity

Group 4 campers (ages 10-11) played a totally radical round of life-size Hungry-Hungry Hippos in the games program.

People hand holding jigsaw puzzle, Color puzzle symbol of awareness for autism spectrum disorder family support. Autism World Awareness Day.

At scrapbooking, the girls in group 9A (ages 15-17) worked on decking out some choice photo albums to store their camp memories.

Portrait, smile and volunteer group selfie outdoors for climate change, charity cleaning and recycling. Earth day, community service and happy people laughing and taking photo with peace sign at park

Meanwhile, our Group 4 kiddos (ages 10-11) took a major chill pill, cooling off at the pool and even wrangling some chickens.

What do you do when another group has already commandeered the camp pool? You just head on over to the sweet lake at Camp Horizons like our group 6 campers (age 13)!

Finally, our 9B boys (ages 15-17) spent the afternoon horseback riding and grooming the Camp Horizons horses.

All-in-all it was a total tubular first day at camp! All groups wrapped up the days activity chillin’ by their respective campfires, bonding, catching up, and (like duh!) making s’mores! Tons of more fun to be had tomorrow. Catch you on the flip side!
