MABC 2025: Day 1 — Campers, Cassette Tapes & Cool Vibes

Welcome back, righteous readers, to another edition of the Mid-Atlantic Burn Camp (MABC) newsletter - the gnarliest way to keep up with what our rad dudes and dudettes (campers) are up to at camp! The vibe? Pure 80s magic. Boomboxes are blasting, Walkmans are walkin’, and the leg warmers are working overtime.

Day 1

Snapped straight out of a righteous time warp! 🔥 Members of the Anne Arundel County Professional Firefighters and Local 1563 Burn Foundation were totally stylin’ at the Johns Hopkins send-off for Camp 2025. With high-fives, big hair energy, and heart, they helped launch these campers into a week that’s gonna be more bodacious than a mixtape on rewind. ✌️💾💥

Our campers cruised into camp right on time—no glitches, no drama—just big hair, bigger smiles, and totally awesome vibes! After rolling in with their radical duffel bags, they got settled into their bunks, met their rockstar counselors (decked out in full 80s gear), and jumped straight into the action. We're talking horseback riding, arts & crafts, swimming, and all the retro fun you can handle. Stay tuned, dudes—we’ll be dropping the 411 all week on these gnarly camp adventures!
