MABC 2024 Camp Ships Log Day 4

Four days down and the fun just keep coming for our young
buccaneers. Today’s adventures included the lake at Camp Horizons,
cooking, games, and even a boat race!

Groups 9A and 6A spent the afternoon playing and cooling off at the pool.

At Games, Group 3 sailors played an MABC classic, 9 Square in the Air -
a fun modern take on the playground game Four Square.

The Group 6B boys had a true life-at-sea experience fishing in the pond
at camp and even caught a few fish!

The evening closed out in true pirate spirit with a cardboard boat race
in the camp pool. Campers each had an hour-long session throughout
the week to plan and construct a boat with their team and pick one
victor to ride their boat to victory!

It’s been a whirl-wind week for our sailors with plenty of fun ahead! For
now, we’re signing off for the MABC.
