Ahoy, mateys! Ye be joining us for yet another year of summer fun at
the Mid-Atlantic Burn Camp - this year with a special pirate spin! This
daily newsletter is where we will share pictures from the day’s
activities so that ye lads and lassies at home can keep up with all the
fun and adventures we have out here on the open seas!

Day 1

Our pirates-to-be arrived at camp right on time without a hitch and
were excitedly greeted by our landlubber-turned-pirate counselors
and staff.

Our youngest sailors (ages 7 to 9) jumped ship to cool off in the pool.

Meanwhile a few of our older groups (ages 12 to 17) set sail for an
adventure abroad (in this case, 5 minutes away at our favorite nearby
camp, Horizons) for team building activities and, a pirate’s favorite
hobby, horseback riding.

The rapscallions in Group 6A took on the Horizons low-ropes course...

...while the scalawags in groups 9A & 9B went horseback riding!

To close out the evening - all of our young pirates gathered with their individual groups to talk about the week to come, catch up with friends, make s’mores, and play games. That be it from us today landlubbers - keep your eyes to the horizons for further updates from the MABC
